My good friend Dorena says that whatever Halloween costume you choose, brings in that energy for the upcoming year.
Im beginning to think about this and wonder if there is some truth in it.
A few years ago I went Goth. And I certainly had a lot of darkness that year. Last year I had a goddess costume...and sure did bring in some goddess energy a few short months later.
Right now Im at a crossroads and feeling somewhat apathetic. I usually love Halloween time and im just not feeling it right now.
And I have a costume party that I am supposed to go to this upcoming weekend.
*sigh*
So, what are you all going to dress up as? I need some inspiration, to laugh and smile.

I used to think the costumes were our alter egos
and then I used to think it was giving voice to our disowned parts
but if I can cast an incantation for my coming year, then maybe Scary Spice might be fun
