I already have a hot tub and a pool and a beautiful home. All of which I paid for my self not took from any man (just to clarify). I am blessed and a good catch. I can't find a guy over 40 that can even afford to feed himself. Come on! I did it with two kids! Maybe I could use it to advertise a dream date with me and have some criteria the men must pass to be worthy of being choosen. Let's see, teeth, a job or trust fund, a car or truck, an IQ over say 80, what else? Maybe sell raffle tickets and make the money back! Good for you, Hap, but in a forum where some of us coming out of divorce are losing homes and bankrupting and waking up choked by financial fear at 4 am night after night after night after endless night, your $30,000 signing bonus, new car, gorgeous home, hot tub and pool are just not what I want to hear about right now. Sorry to be the curmudgeon but if I had $30 I felt I could spend indulgently without repercussion I'd feel like a damn diva. MVH, I understand but you have no idea, unless you read my journals, what I have been through to get to where I am. Two months ago I was also facing forclosure. I get no child support, I had a son graduate last year, no money to help with college. I had to get him to lend us money so we could eat! I know I am blessed but it was all from MY hard work and never giving up and finding a way, with God's help to hang on. This is just a fantasy to blow the money. I have bills, kids and all of the same stresses. I never had help from the baby daddy, as a matter of fact he is living in MY guest room, eating our food and going out drinking and doing drugs with every cent he gets his hands on, while my ex financee is moving a chick (he has known for two months) and her kids into a house we had built together and I furnished. I never even got to live in it before he cheated on me and we broke up. Never offering a cent to repay me. I have earned all that I have the hard way. I just wanted to dream a little! I am just a bit farther along than most in my recovery, financially. My credit is still jacked up from the ex not paying. I get calls everyday. I feel your pain! Believe me!
