After years of waiting, since pre-COVID-19, in mid-April of this year, 2026, mediation was finally undergone by a third party appointed by the courthouse.


Shortly after, the mediator submitted the report to the courthouse. We are just waiting on my attorney for the divorce decree so that the attorney who is helping me with the military preparation documents can submit them together to the Department of Defense for my privileges and benefits to be revived. I'm so glad that all the attorneys are eager to close the case ASAP.


I just emailed my divorce attorney to follow up with the divorce decree request, because according to my understanding its not hard to get.



Anyone else ready to close their divorce case, like me with mine, and turn the page?

I am so glad to hear this good news. I can remember the BS I put up with in my divorce back in 2008-2009. I had a good attorney and he forced my ex to sign the papers giving me half his 401K earned during our long marriage when I was a stay at home mom. He benefitted in his career from having me do everything with the kids and the home. But he told the kids I stole his money. Nope, everything by state law which gives the spouse half if it was earned in the marriage.

Yes, your divorce attorney did well. He looked after you. I wish I had a good family attorney who actually cared about my well-being and considered all the sacrifices I've made for my family as a stay-at-home mom.

    I haven't written in my diary on my computer since May because I thought that my computer was dying.  I got away from writing but my computer is hanging in there.  I think that I will start writing in it again.  It's so therapeutic.

    Years ago, I won a mirrored armoire from my job.  It's in my bedroom but I rarely stand in front of it.  Yesterday, I had to have a dexascan done so I had to change into a gown.  There was a full length mirror in the changing room.  I'm aware that I gained 5 to 7 pounds over the last year from cheating on Keto but I didn't know what it looked like.  It was a reality check.
