Breakups & Divorce Support Group
Just broke up with someone or in the midst of a difficult divorce? Breaking up is difficult no matter what the circumstances are. They say that time heals all wounds, but sometimes a listening ear or a hug can work wonders for the heart. Whether you need a place to vent, someone to hold you to No Contact, or need advice about what to do, we're here to help.

Keeping busy is good. The other week I came home and thought I'd just pick up the house a little bit. The night ended when I finished using the steamer on the refrigerator. Realizing that that was the best thing I could think of doing on a Wednesday evening sent me into a rage spiral (you're not there yet).
I wrote a long response to you here: https://www.dailystrength.org/group/breakups-divorce/discussion/struggling-77.

Dragonflywishes, I'm so sorry about the stbx. Mine barely waited for the ink to dry on the divorce papers before moving in with the new boyfriend.
I guess it comes down to character, would you rather be the person that could give up and move on so easily or would you rather be the person that a relationship meant something to them? (In the moment it may be easy to say give up and move on) I think if you really think about it you'll come to the conclusion that by having feelings about this you're the better type of person.
Both of you stay strong!
