Hi,

I'm going through a divorce after being together for 13 years and married for 11. All of our friends were through the marriage and now I have no family or friends here. I have been having a very difficult time and feel alone all of the time along with a lot of other emotions that I'm not sure of. I have two young children and also learning how to be a single parent at the same time!

I found this site/group online and I’m hoping to find some good people that I can become friends with that won’t judge as I don’t.

Please reply or message me if you have any advice or just to say "Hi" so I know I'm not all alone!

You are most definitely not alone. There are soooo many people here (myself included) who know exactly how you're feeling and can empathize with what you're going through. We all have different stories, but can all related to the pain you're in. And I'm so sorry you're going through this. We've gotta keep reminding ourselves that it won't hurt this badly forever.

I have been here now for over a year on and off again. My wife of 10 years and together for 14 has told me 3 years in a row that she needs to find nd her happiness. The first two years I did everything I could to change her mind but this time around I am exhausted. I’ve put her on the highest of pedestals because I wanted too not because she requires it. She is my life but this time around she is getting an apartment this weekend to try a full separation to see if she can make herself happy. I have mixed emotions, sad,angry,confused....I feel for her and hope she finds her happiness even if it isn’t with me. No one should live unhappy. Although I’m a bit of a hypocrite at the moment.

You are not alone. I am going through the exact same thing right now. I have never felt so alone and all the feelings are intensified because all i have is time and being alone. From one lonely person to another, we can get through this! I am so sorry you are going through this because I would never wish this pain on anyone.
