I would like to thank DS community. Today, I was able to complete my goal. When I joined this site I was lost and pretty much trying hard to get over my 7 year relationship. I read a lot of discussions and realized a lot of things. From the time I joined, after two weeks, I finally had the strength to cut communication with my ex, I never though I could do it but the anger helped a lot. After going through the anger, I was able to accept things and move on smoothly. I met a lot of guys along the way, some became good friends and some made me understand more about how men think and I learned a lot from them. My life is completely different now compared a year ago. I quit my previous job and worked at home as a consultant ( which has a better professional title and privileges). I was able to focus on having balance in my life and was able to have a lot of time to think where I want to be. In short, I was able to recenter my life to me, which I felt I lost in my previous relationship. I have no intentions of rebuilding friendship with my ex since we are oceans apart and I owe it to myself to completely walk away from those memories. There were good ones but I know there'll be better ones to create with someone else. Right now I know it in my heart that I wont be able to commit to any serious relationships--and I am happy about that fact that I am not going to fall inlove with the idea of falling inlove. I socialize, meet people, go out on dates but my biggest focus right now is creating this new business ventures. I invested my money to some consumer product business and do some online work as well. I can work from home and sometimes go to the office to check on things. I feel an amazing satisfaction knowing I have this balance in my life without depending on someone else to balance it for me. I am so happy that I was able to complete my goal without pressuring myself not to think of my ex anymore. Time did help and refocusing inwards rather than external happiness did count a lot.
Thank you everyone and I'm wishing you all the best. I am happy to be a part of this community.
Best Regards,
Leah

My 6mo twin DD's are EBF and just started rice cereal on the first. Everything has been going fine except this morning one of them had a diaper rash (lots of redness around her anus). I read this as one of the signs of an allergy. BUT I did just buy a different brand diaper yesterday (which they have used randomly before w/no issues). Do you think its the cereal or the diaper? Im ready to start...
Big hugs, Kimmee
