You know that you are. You deserve better than this man and the craziness he has to offer.
Do NOT let him back into your life.
No friendship, no pals, NADA.
Because life is too short to waste it.
Rman I have considered that actually if he does contact me, but don't know anything about them. Do they cover internet contact or is it just actual physical proximity?
My best advice is to just not answer any of his calls/emails/whatever. Don't change any of your numbers. Just let him call and leave as many messages as he wishes. It will take anywhere from 6 to 8 weeks for him to quit.
And don't get upset by threats. Remember that threats just prove that someone has considered and Rejected thoughts that have come into their mind.
If he starts showing up places that you are, then he's taken it to another level. And you might need that restraining order.
Your free to decide what's best. But this is the advice from the book, The Gift of Fear, by Galvin DeBecker. He's a security consultant for a bunch of police departments, etc, etc.
Paul, no there are no kids involved between the two of us. Thankfully because then I don't have any reason why I would have to see or hear from him.
Just hearing from everyone has made me feel better. I knew I would get better perspective by posting than sitting here worrying.
