Much to my dismay, the end is near of my 15yr marriage...I have acknowledged it but am a far cry from embracing or acceptance...To make matters worse I suffer from chronic/clinical depression, diabetes, and aspergers syndrome - I was even depressed during the 'good' times...I truly believe that death would be much more pleasureable than persevering or enduring this plight...I know others have and will continue to make the transition with their own difficulties and challenges - I am told this, I presume, to deemphasize & minimize my sense of despair & chronic hopelessness; it is almost humiliating...I struggle thru each day feeling already apprehended by the future & imprisoned by the past...My psych doc says I will be a changed (better/stronger) person with a bright future - none of which I believe to be true since I lack the fortitude of hope & faith...

I have noticed that the weekend seems the hardest for you. Consistent.
I never have anything to look forward to myself. When I do, that involves other people, who always cancel on me. I suspect you have other views.
