Your journal entry was very moving and sad. Here's hoping we both regain our confidence, vibrancy, life, goals, whatever, by getting away from these destructive men. Remembering how I used to be before all this happened makes me want to get out soooo bad so I can find myself again, be whole, live vs. exist/struggle/cry, etc.

Hey everyone, I did not get to leave last night. I wanted to move my stuff out and then let him know. I really did not want to handle things this way because it felt so cowardly and cruel, but I decided that it was the best plan I had. If I had tried to move out last night I would have only had about 2 hours to do so. Instead I waited until he went to work today at 2, my mother and two sisters-in-law came and we moved me out in about hours. Not everything, just the essentials, clothes and bedroom items, tv and things I was afraid of him breaking. I called after I was out and told him. I literally did not sleep last not, not even a little, I took a half hour nap this afternoon. Needless to say I am running on empty both emotionally, and physically. I cried sporadically all day. I was very proud of him however. When I told him he did not insult me or get out of hand. He got mean at one point, so I simply hung up. He showed up here and we had a good talk. He was very nice, but did not try to get me back. I hope this is a sign of good things to come for both him and me.

Just thought I would join this group now that I am a widower. My wife passed away May 28th. She was "The Wind Beneath My Wings". When I met her, I was a drunken, dope smoking, fighting, hell raising biker. She told me if I could get rid of the inner storm within me, that I could be a blessing to people. God placed her in my path to stop me. I have been drug and alcohol free now for 53...

My husband and I got our foster license last month, after 3 years of hard work (we had to start over multiple times due to family dramas and Mom's open heart surgery). We spent a year preparing the whole house, guest rooms, and children's bathroom for older kids of 7 yr old and up. Then we got a call that we have been approved to receive twin newborn premies. What, what?!! Babies!? Premies?!...
