Breakups & Divorce Support Group
Just broke up with someone or in the midst of a difficult divorce? Breaking up is difficult no matter what the circumstances are. They say that time heals all wounds, but sometimes a listening ear or a hug can work wonders for the heart. Whether you need a place to vent, someone to hold you to No Contact, or need advice about what to do, we're here to help.
I would also suggest that you not waste your energy on wishing bad things for your ex and his mistress...it is doing nothing to them, all it is doing is hurting you! Stop blaming her for what happened! My ex had many mistresses I don't blame a single one of them. If he was a honest, loving husband then there would have been nothing they could have done to tempt him. His affairs are his fault...due to his shortcoming, insecurities and addictions.
I'm sorry you are going through this! I know how hard it is but you can find the strength to move forward and live a wonderful life!
Hugs to you and Merry Christmas!
All you ever wanted--for years and years was too get rid of your husband. Now you have and you should be happy, but if you spend all of your time thinking about him and everything he has done to you you can never move on to any happiness or peace at all. It will also totally ruin your health.
Someone once said that to hate and be full of bitterness is the same thing as to drink a glass of poison and expect the other person to die.
I really hope after all these years you will be able to let it go and just think about what you can do instead of what you can't do.
Good luck
I know someone else who became a bar regular (also a senior), she always drank diet coke (with nothing else). Didn't take long for people to learn her name, and it was a nice outlet.
Everyone pretty much finds their own path. I kept repeating to myself, "It's MY life now.".......and many years later....that's exactly what I've made it. My life is nothing special......I'm betting my ex would find it boring....but I LOVE it.
