Hi, I'm finding my current situation difficult. I have been with my girlfriend coming up to 2 years. She has taken a trip abroad to work on a cruise ship for initially 3 months then changed her mind to complete the full contract at 6 months. Time has gone very slow on my side because I have almost put my life on hold for the first 4 months... Only now am I beginning to enjoy life a little more with just under 2 months left. But I miss her so badly still. I'm confused because she has said a few times now about us being on a break? As far as I was aware we were still together. What does this mean? Strange because she hasn't told any of her work mates that she has a partner or at least courting? Even her own friends in the UK only knows that we used to be together.. She has said this recently

"I haven't really spoke to anyone about where we are at the moment because 1 we need to see each other first and 2 we have rebuilding to do before anyone else is involved"

we've been messaging each other almost every day. I feel so confused! Andddd now to add to the whole situation I have been speaking to another girl who has been really nice and wants to go out for a drink in a couple of days... Ultimately I know I want to be with Chloe but I'm not sure she wants the same and I don't want to lose the chance with this other girl IF I'm right.
The old 'on a break' trick. I think the point of breaks is that both parties are on them. And both parties are shagging furiously. If that's how they roll...
Get her to clarify. One set of rules for both of you. Not one special set for her. Ok?
If she can't clarify, time to scupper that ship.
