Well, it has been an interesting afternoon. I have to let this one out because it was sort-of empowering.

I had to talk to my wife today. I am still in the Doldrums. We had some interesting things to say and she isn't totally ruling out the chances of working on things, but not at this time. It was upsetting but I did get one dig in.

She was talking about how I didn't have many bills. I told her that I was going to have a high powerbill. She asked from what. I told her from the boat. She asked why would it be high and I told her because I was going to be running a AC and a fridge. She asked why I was doing that and I told her that I was living on it. She said "You don't have to do that, you have your parents house." I said that my parents house isn't my house. You kicked me out of my house so I am living on the boat. She really didn't like that but I am really tickled by it. I felt pretty empowered by it.

I have made the decision that, at least for summer and fall, I am going to go ahead and spend just a little money and put a few minor things on the boat so I can be a Full-time live aboard (I will only sleep a couple of nights in Culpeper). I felt good about making this decision because I finally made a decison that has an impact on my life. It will be cool to tell people that I live on a boat when they ask me where I live :) I have always wanted to be a live-aboard and try this so I am making an attempt! Besides, the boat is the one place that I have any privacy and I HATE having a roommate (that was my marriage was like sometimes because I definately didn't get the emotional support and love that I needed).

Sorry to vent but this is a pretty good feeling!
