The best revenge is a well lived life.
That means you have a couple of options.
1) Join another gym, continue your workouts and offer your services to teach bootcamp classes; or
2) Let him continue to control your happiness.
I quit the gym when I was getting divorced, but only because of financial issues. I started jogging outside. Oftentimes I would cry and run at the same time. I would try to run as soon as I got home from work, but often didn't have the energy, so I would put it off and off, trying to psych myself up for it. Usually I ended up running at night in the dark, that's when I finally got it together, At least if you exercise at home, you have to drag yourself as far as your back door, rather than into the car then driving to a new gym. When you're stronger, you can go find that new gym and restart teaching classes.
