At the Soccer game today..
First time that we have really been around each other. She walked up to me and told me that I need to "deal with my issues because she isn't going anywhere"..amongst other things.
She had the nerve to tell me that I don't need to judge her because she is "sure" that I have had more sexual partners than she has. HAD to respond to that and let her know that, even if that is the case, NONE of them were MARRIED TO SOMEONE ELSE!!
Other than that..I didn't react... not going to let my kids see me act the way that I wanted to.
They walked aroung the Soccer fields together.. holding hands and kissing. The other soccer Mom's were as grossed out as I was.
The fact that my kids now have to spend a portion of thier lives around this woman bothers me greatly.
I tried..and failed..not to let it get to me. She is one of those women that commits adultry and is PROUD of herself. Like she won something. She wanted him, she got him, and she is happy with herself.
I am sure that there are lots of people on this site who have had similar experiences. It's not fun. I do know that she, and my ex, have not won anything but a life with partner that they will never fully be able to trust.
Now I just need to think of something to do with all of the energy that I didn't use drop-kicking her ass at the soccer field.
Any suggestions??

I'm sorry you had to go through that, but the consolation is this: they wont last. She who is with someone who left someone else to be with her is bound to be left someday! N.

My second response would be to say the fact she approached you with such comments means she is insecure. Someone with confidence wouldn't have done such a thing. I would suggest you smile and say, "I'm sorry you feel that way. Now, I'm going to finish watching this game." Then, walk away.
She was trying to get under your skin. If she didn't perceive you as a threat, she would not have said what she did.
She (OW) reminds me of my husband's girlfriend. No shame, no remorse, no nothing.
My husband's girlfriend had the nerve to show up at my daughter's dance recital. Like you, I grinned and beared it. Not only did I dress up, but looked like a million bucks. I held up my head as you have.
Do no lower your standards, because OW cannot hold a candle to you. You have handled yourself with dignity, pride, and self integrity. This your children (boys) see on not only a daily basis with you, but they also know that you will be there for them unconditionally.
Let your heart smile knowing how much your boys love and adore you. You are the "real winnter", if you can remember that.
Love your boys more than you hate OW and your STBX.

My first husband's OW acted this way to me 10 years when they got together. (I was pregnant with his child at the time) Didn't take her long to realize that he wasn't the proze she thought. Shge has written me letters of apology and confessed to wanting to leave him several times but is stuch because she is a high school drop out and they have two kids.
The OW you are dealing with may get a dose of her own medicine before too long. If he cheated WITH her - he will probably cheat ON her.

I've never met OW face to face but have talked to her by phone. Talked to her just after STBX dumped her. She thought she would get him in trouble by calling me. No luck as I already knew about her. I was cool & calm...didn't even cuss. :) Did get to give her some advice, "Honey, don't play with married men. They aren't finished with what they have at home."
STBX told me later that OW said I intimidated her & made her feel guilty. :)
