I just hate that I can go through a whole day and be fine then I am hit with a wave of overwhelming grief. Then I am reduced to rubble. I don't even want her back, I am just sad.

It is such a mixed bag of emotions. You're right STex-the thought of being with my ex doesn't interest me anymore. But I want him in my life. I feel a need to talk to him. It's not just our spouse we lost, we lost our friend, at least I did.

Yes, I guess that is part of it, just all the vacations and memories start flooding. Plus my son was texting me all day, I could tell he is just sad too. He is driving over to see me in a bit.

Yeah i've got over 20 years of 8 mm tapes downstairs that I don't know if I ever want to see again .. but there's lots of sports on there with the kids and my daughters dance and vacations but my ex-wife is in all of that shit so maybe I'll just keep it all for the kids if they want the tapes ..after almost 3 years I still don't want to look at them

I really don't want much from the house. I want my truck and motorhome. Some family heirlooms. I don't want anything that reminds me of her or our life together.I want a completely fresh start.
