go to the mall, buy yourself and coffee and people watch..look at the couples.. are they loving and guess what..they are not all size 0..... and look at the men... ask yourself would you want that one.. or that one...... be good to you..... get out and walk daily..... helps clear the head...maybe get a pet
Why are you driving by their house, why were you calling her, and how do you know about what's going on at his aunt's house? Do yourself a favor and stay away. You can't start to heal by putting yourself through this kind of misery.
Unfortunately, I have read a few books but the things they say its more easier said than done. It plays into my over analyzing things and i've tried to give that up. I really don't have time for any hobbies since I work 2 jobs to pay all the bills that got racked up. Then I have yardwork and housework to do when I find a spare hour or two. And I have 4 cats and 2 dogs, don't need anymore pets right now. If i'd have the chance, i'd have 50 cats and live up to my nickname of the old cat woman, my destiny. I hate going to the mall and especially looking at "couples". Makes me think that i'm really a loser since I don't have "that". I do that enough at work seeing all the young guys getting married and having kids. Why couldn't anyone love me like that? My doctor won't prescribe me anything, he'd rather chastize me for my weight, my blood sugar and etc. I rarely go to him anymore. Don't need any extra criticism from him. Overall, It's pretty hopeless if you ask me!
You need to change your attitude or you wont make it. you will sink into depression...trust us, we have all been there...
try listening to great music... it really lifts your spirits...
It sounds like you have sooo much to do, that may become a blessing for you. It's the everyday duties and chores that help to take our minds off our problems. Right now I'm unemployed and I just wish I still had my job to give me something to do and for social interactions. If you're handling all these duties you remind me of my mantra for last Saturday - "I'm a strong woman". You do have inner strength to be able to handle all that, under the present circumstances!
As far as medication, I had to see a psychiatrist to get the prescription. It was a considered a very mild one by antidepressant standards, takes about 30 days to feel it work, I was told, but each one I took was like a life preserver to me. If you are that depresssed it's hard to see that there will ever be light beyond your present tunnel, or even to take the steps necessary to help yourself. That's a big part of the problem. As your mood lifts - for a few minutes, an hour, a day - you'll catch glipses of being happy again with yourself.
