My boyfriend dumped me almost 2 weeks ago. We still live together and it's so difficult. He and I still sleep in the same bed. He is supposed to move out at the end of February but he just casually told me he might stay for March. I want him gone ASAP. I want to be alone. Being near him is making it impossible to move on.


He keeps acting like he doesn't want it to be over but he dumped me so it is over. He wants to be friends with benefits. I don'. I want him to stop being romantic and sweet now that we're broken up.


He is so selfish. He doesn't care about me. It's so unfair. If I could afford the rent for March on my own I would tell him to leave.

Start sleeping on the sofa or make a pallet on the floor. Are you still intimate when you share the same bed?

If you are not in a relationship with him, then behave that way. And this is a time to pay attention to his words "I want to break up with you" rather than his actions "I want to fuck you".

He’s not the only fish in the sea in other words. He dumped you then that means he doesn’t want to be with you. Simple and no not easy but one step at a time just like you arrived here back up and move on.

HI, keep to you values and principals and don't give in to his selfish ways. He wants his cake and eat it too and that is not fair to you as you deeply care about him but he doesn't feel the same.

I have a close friend that after 8 years of marriage his wife said i want out but if it doesn't work out can i come back, OMG are you F---ing kidding me i said? What nerve and a real pair of brass ones!
He made his choice so although not easy move on and keep your head up as there are plenty of other men who would care about you and treat you right.
Also stop sleeping in the same bed as the temptation will keep being there and that's what he wants to give in to your feelings and desires.

He was the one who decided to leave you. He doesn't have the right to tell you that he still wants you sexually. I don't know what kind of person you are, but if I was in your situation, then I would make him sleep on the couch, and lock the door (if you can). I would also talk to a close friend or family member and see if they could stay with you and help pay rent so then you could kick him out. If not then maybe put out an ad or something (I don't know if people still do that or not).
