Road has done more good than harm here on DS....gotten a helluva lot of us through our darkest hours through his humor, banter, and all around kindness. (Okay...I'm done sucking up. You can pay me now!) :-p

As for the "C" word...I haven't read the thread. I personally don't take offense to it as I know I can be one myself at times. That's pretty much all I'm gonna say bout dat!

For the record, I've barely been here for the past few weeks, I don't know (nor do I care) what Road did to be banned. I will say that he likely thrives on being banned; it's happened before, he pushes the envelope. TheRoad is at least his 3rd profile. But Heave I hope that Soon isn't too hurt that Road is apparently your new Man Crush.

I am sticking up for Road because he has been a good friend and some of the crazy stuff he does is funny. If I see something being done to my friends that are wrong I say something and stick up for my friends. I would do it for any of you guys and gals and you know this!

The root of this problem is that some people take themselves and this place way to seriously. Yeah...we are here to heal, at least some of us, but if we are sad and depressing all of the time it will rub off on everyone else. People like road break the chain of sad and depressing stuff and give this place some badly needed spice. I know that there are quite a few of there out there that will remember a time when Road said something and you had no choice but to laugh.

Besides....when someone calls you a name.... Sticks and stones, love, sticks and stones!
