Well I wouldn't suggest rebound thing BUT really who cares what he thinks he is MARRIED! We all make mistakes and now you can work on yourself and I wouldn't even allow him to call me names when he obviously has no morals for cheating himself. And honestly if you were with him now vs her he would cheat on you eventually too.

I suppose the bigger question is why are you still in contact with this guy since he is married and even more than that what did you stand to gain by telling him that you had a one night stand? Were you secretly hoping to illicit a jealous response from him? You need to cut off ALL contact with him. I know how this ends and it is not a fairy tale ending that is found in Disney movies. He is hoping to keep you around as his side piece. And once you indulge him in just a little conversation, he will tell you that his wife doesn't excite him anymore and how he doesn't even know if he loves her and that he was stupid for giving up what he had with you. He will play with your emotions just enough to keep you on the hook and then he will suggest that you guys "meet up". He will sweet talk you in to bed and because you will be on his emotional fishing hook, you will believe that it is going to lead to some deeper connection, like him leaving his wife for you. But that will never happen and in the off chance that it did, you will come to despise yourself as well as him, because you will know deep in your heart that you settled for someone who is not capable of being in a truly committed relationship but this time you will have no one to blame but yourself, because you knew what he was from the beginning.
Do yourself a favor and stop communicating with him. The mere fact that you are so upset that he said he will no longer sleep with you speaks volumes. Had you said" the nerve of this jerk even thinking that I would spread my legs for him ever again!!!!! ",I would have been right there with you. But your response to all this and comparing your sexual encounters to that of his wife bespeaks a person who is secretly hoping to get back with this individual. Remember he made a decision to keep his family togther and marry this woman, so you should let him know that you respect his choice and that he is not to contact you any more.
