Been dating a woman for a little over a month. I really like her alot. She says shes attracted to me, which i believe her due to the way we are when together. Im the kinda guy who tells it like it is. I love being emotional with her, but she tends to have a harder time expressing it.
Ive been divorced for 8 years now, been in a relationship 2 years after the divorce for 4 years, that ended with me and that girl being very supportive and great friends. anyway..
This woman will not call me. she answers and calls back when i call her. Shell email back when i email but wont initiate. Am i the only one who likes to have a call seeing how im doing or to just say hi?? Does it mean that she really doesnt give a crap? She talks about texting but i dont have it and dont want it. She can easily call. I suppose she doesnt like me enough to sacrafice. So here i am...ive decided to back away to see if shell call, I dont want to but i have to. This will fade away if she lets it. Its her option, its in her court, and it will be her loss.
I hate it, i hate the dating thing, i hate the pain right now. Its been 3 days and havent heard a peep from her. little more time and things will be fine, so close but so far.

Get texting, you'll love it. It is a great way to tell someone you are thinking about them or just a quick reminder. You never have to worry about interrupting anything and the reciever can reply at their convenince

Sorry....I don't think she likes you that much or she would call you too.

i agree. shes just not that into you. or she would make the time to call. just taking from the book hes just not that into you. when someone isnt giving you their time with all the different ways we have to communicate these days (text, email, mail, etc.) they arent that into you. find someone who appreciates your value.

yeah but maybe she read that book and is expecting him to come after her...Maybe just tell her that you like her but you feel like you are the one putting in all the effort....lay it all out...

From what I recall of dating(it's been a few years) there is no shortage of interesting available women to socially interact with. If she doesn't seem that into you, so be it, let things back off, enjoy the company of friends and new people. In a week or two, drop her a call, see how things are going, if it feels right, meet for lunch. If she is into you, she'll figure it out, if she isn't and if you two have enough in common, then there is always the potential for a good friendship to develop.

Just ask her how come she never calls you first, some of us don't know if we should or not. Me I was always worried that I would be bothering him, catch him at the wrong time or something. I did call once, asked if he was busy and he said something then said "Who is this"? Uh ok that isn't good. When I said who it was his voice changed and he was all nice. I guess he had other women calling him that he didn't want to talk to at that moment :(

on second thought I did that to a guy I really didn't care to see anymore either. I answered when he called and replied when he messaged me, but I stopped initiaing when I saw we had differences. Just being honest.
