Breakups & Divorce Support Group
Just broke up with someone or in the midst of a difficult divorce? Breaking up is difficult no matter what the circumstances are. They say that time heals all wounds, but sometimes a listening ear or a hug can work wonders for the heart. Whether you need a place to vent, someone to hold you to No Contact, or need advice about what to do, we're here to help.
However, I can see this making a great Nicky Sparks book, when prince charming finds it, does the due diligence to figure out who you are and return it.

MSgtD: I hope thats how my life turns out! like a Nicholas SParks story!
I am glad you were able to enjoy your day!
Crazy? Not at all. I absolutely love the symbolism...let it all go and may the waters take it and do with it what they will...
When my divorce is final, I am planning a small funeral pyre with my marriage certificate and a few other personal items. I believe in the strength of ritual to empower us. Of course, all strength comes from within but following through with something like this allows us to see and feel it...beautiful.
Good luck and best wishes for finding that happiness within...and thank you for sharing! :)
cool
It's comforting to know that it's not just my husband that runs away when the going gets tough. My husband and I have been having problems since Sept of last year, and rather than working things out, he decided to end our marriage and moved out a few days ago. I am beyond devastated and completely confused. I feel like you do wondering how a once-ideal-man could change so drastically when faced with common family challenges. He believes that it is time to be free and non-committed and in turn have less responsibility and stress. Talk about being selfish. I guess it's his prerogative, but if that's how he felt, he should have never married me. The sad part, is that I still love him and miss him. Hopefully, those feelings will end soon.
I know I'm late but happy birthday! I wish you strength during the hard times.
Anyway, I'm here to tell you that you CAN achieve that. You are getting a do over or second chance. Take what you've learned from this and build on it. I won't lie and say you won't mourn the loss ever again, just saying you can be an over-comer. (((HUGS)))
