Using the famous words of Jack Nicholson; "I'm back"... I have missed the sain people on this site. Yes I mean sain or wonderfully insain. We all are you know! It is the rest of the world that is messed up. I know some of you and others I am just learning about but I can tell already you new guys are one of us "the good guys"., the givers and lovers of the world. I fell again last Christmas another rebound? Maybe but I took another chance and tried. You can read my journal and see where that got me. I was stronger this time, protected my heart a bit more but things are headed in the same bad direction. Are we the "good ones" always going to choose "bad ones" for some reason? Life is such a rollercoaster; ups and downs. Should we just get happy and stay alone to avoid the downs sacrificing the highs? or should we keep taking chances and suffer the pain relationships can bring hoping one day we choose correctly? I'm not so sure anymore? Your thoughts?

If you whole heart is not in it? It's not good.
If they cause you financial ruin? It's not good.
If they rely on you and lie to you about their significant past? It's not good.

It's just poor choices based on feeling lonely. No pun intended honey but, I just hate it that we often make the same mistakes expecting different results based on definition of insanity.

I know my "picker" is broken so I need to stay away from "relationships" as I need to fix myself first. I have already learned to be happy with and by myself. If a relationship happens....great.....If not......great. My stbx has tainted my need to have another relationship for now.
Check out some counseling to find out why you attract the same kind of man.

I know Z I just need to figure out why I am always attracted to the same type of man. I had lots of options when I settled on this dude. I wouldn't give any of the rest of them the time of day so I don't really think it was just to not be alone. I fell for the cute as*hole as I did my ex husband and my exfiance' Hey I'm getting better, married one, didn't the next ad just lived with the last! LOL Why do I pick the same men over and over? How do you change the type you are attracted to?

It is nice to see you again. Time sure flies. I have no idea. I haven't dated for a year now and have no idea how to even start. But I do want to have it all and not settle. Sorry things have been rough for you...I do think we need to find contentment within ourselves. That somewhere we become okay at being alone and then a relationship is an added bonus. Hugs to you

Ummmm evict him and don't be in a rush next time? How long did you know this guy before you let him invade your home to become the Brady Bunch?

You just need to work you and not NEED a man rather WANT one to be a supplement and not the defining force.

Learn the lessons and then, apply them. Will we make mistakes? Hell yeah but, don't move them in until you've had an adequate time to get to really know the person.

Sad part is. I was happy ALONE! I had friends, dates, a real life. I was good. Could have stayed that way but along came the dude!!! I turn to mush. Do they put off a musk or something?? I get stupid and trusting and I'm screwed!

ummmm....I remember you wanting a relationhsip badly. I want you to heal and get what you deserve.....to be whole because you are already fantastic and stop calling yourself fluffy and get that self-esteem a kick start. I have grown in that area.

Fluffy but fine!! Some men like a little fluff, I'm good with my curves! I actually like me for a change. I've grown just need to find a way not to fall for the same type man over and over. It is really a strong love struck little girl type attraction I get that gets me in troule and not thinking straight

We need to keep going until we get it right. I refuse to believe that out lives are just supposed to be one heartbreak after another. My breakup is a learning experience, even though I don't know what I have learned, but one day I will understand. Maybe I am just a romantic but that is how I feel. Maybe that is why I stayed for too many years and went back too many times.
