I could barely drag myself out of bed for months through the break up. And i was tired all the time. All I could think about was going back to bed..

I am tired all the time. Sometimes i am so drained it is hard to work and all. Sad really. I ever wonder if i will have my normal mind back

Robot, that's an interesting thought. I was/am an over protective Mom (do you ever stop being over protective even when they're 300 miles away?). My son turned out okay. He's self reliant, independent, smart. He will start screaming "Stranger Danger" if you come too close to him, though. (just kidding.... or AM I?)

I think its called "OVER-protecting" for a reason. Protecting your children is mandatory (or at least it should be), over protecting, can potentially cause the self esteem issues, self confidence in the childs abilities an be harmed, and the child can feel the need to be rebelious in order to feel like they have control. Not to mention, I believe that its important for them to learn from their experiences. I want them to know that they always have a choice, its my job to influence them to make the right ones, but its not my job to make them make the right ones. obviously, with this, there are certain exceptions where I need to intervene more than usual, buit I think those situations fall into the "protective" category, not the "overprotective" one.

this isnt a knock on those who do believe in it, just an expression of my opinion.

I am actually glad to see the rain here. The pollen is out of control. Had me sick all last week and I am finally better now.

She is tough too...I have taught her to distinguish the difference between biting her toys and biting my face...I had to sacrifice my face for a little bit, but it worked...she's a friendly girl...
