Dark holes have their purpose, but staying there is not good for you either. You are probably right where you need to be for the moment. As you said, everyone is at different stages in their healing process, for each person that is individual. Just remember, the longer it takes you to crawl out of that dark hole, the longer your healing process will take. Sometimes, we tend to prolong the pain unnecessarily. Not on purpose of course, we just don't see it at that time. Sometimes, for me, it helps to have friends that will hold me accountable for doing specific things every day that will move me closer towards the healing. Simple things, taking a walk, listening to some inspiring music or reading a good book, going to the gym, counseling... you know whatever works for you. Keeping yourself busy, changing your focus, that helps me. Hope this was helpful. Take care Rman, I feel your pain, been there, done that.

As you know by my last PM I am there too..the fucking limbo and darkness and all that comes with it. I have a special someone in my life however the stbx and I still live in the same house and my kids are going to suffer for his actions. I think I am enabling all this but I can't let go for now until the summer. So..in the fucking dark hole I sit with SAD. Wanna join?
