My female fits the above to a T, a real Bitch, but my male not so much. Hmmmm, interesting. I guess I'm not helping the cause much am I???
My cat, a male, is quite predictable.
He greets me every morning as I get up--because he wants me let him out of the house.
He stands by the refrigerator with a plaintive look--because he wants to be fed.
He gives me a friendly swipe with his paw when I am sitting at the kitchen table--to let me know he wants to go out the back door.
I say he gives me a friendly swipe, because he does the first swipe with his claws retracted. I ignore that first swipe at my great peril.
In sum, he has me well trained.
They will wake me up to get what they want (in their case it is usually food, in x's use your imagination).
They stay out all night, and don't tell me where they've been.
They accept food and affection form others, and seem to forget they are mine.
They howl, and carry on with little regard for my needs.
The male cats pees in the toilet, and NEVER flushes!!!
They get all cozy and loving when it suits them, or they want something...
They will scratch, bite and hurt you, even though you love them and try to be nice to them.
but I have had a few wonderful cats over the years. One right now goes right to whoever is sick and will cuddle them to sleep. She's incredible. She even lays there when the babies pull on her tail.
My cat has never taken me to court
My cat does not go crazy with credit cards
My cat is happy to see when I get home
My cat crys when I leave him to get the mail
My cat is happy to sleep on the same bed with me
My cats needs are simple and he never demands the very best.
Its not the same as having a human in my life but there are a few good things.
The torti is quiet and meak. She only bothers me when she wants to lay on me.
The other is a mutt. Part siamese and the rest is unknown. She is loud, obnoxious, demanding and considers herself queen above all living, breathing entities. She was suppose to stay with the ex.....another winning in the divorce...LOL
