Dealing with the loss

I found out my ex was cheating on me and he had cheated on me about 3 times in the past 2 years. We've been together on and off for 4 years and were planning on getting married and having kids. And this was just a slap in the face. To make matters worse I still care about him but he blocked me last Sunday. My world is shattered.

This is indeed hard to deal with but, you found out he was not faithful before you got married. Had you married him and had kids, then found out, you would have been tied to him for years with visitation rights, child support, etc. Things will get better for you but, it takes time. Emotions run will for a while but, be glad you found out now, not later. When your loved one cheats, it breaks the bond of trust and, once that happens, it is very, very difficult to ever mend that break. Suspicion will always be in the background along with its 2 partners, doubt and fear. I have been there too.

I am happy that this has happened with you not because you are a bad person but because god has chosen you to take this pain so that you work towards making yourself a better version of yourself and forget and forgive those who did wrong to you and spread positive and right intention energy into the world.

Every person has choice to love and stay in love even when it hurts . You being kinder and good person had the capability to give someone chance several times. You are not at fault . It is not your mistake if he was not able to reciprocate . It is his loss that he missed an opportunity with you.

You deserve all the happiness and love of this world after you are over from this pain . Just observe this pain don't react as it is temporary. You are permanent . Your are important . I am happy you are alive .

    Just thought I would join this group now that I am a widower.  My wife passed away May 28th.     My husband and I got our foster license last month, after 3 years of hard work (we had to start over multiple times due to family dramas and Mom's open heart surgery). We spent a year preparing the whole house, guest rooms, and children's bathroom for older kids of 7 yr old and up. Then we got a call that we have been approved to receive twin newborn premies. What, what?!! Babies!? Premies?!...
