Could I? Should I? Have You?

I have this problem with the stbx gf. I LOATHE her. I want to tell him he could see his kids all he wanted if he got rid of her.

I want to tell him I would not fight him so hard in court for much if he got rid of her. She is my problem. I dont trust her and I dont like her.

If he found a NICE and SINCERE woman, I would have no problem with that. It just HER I have the problem with.

Anybody else in this same boat?

What do I do?

i am in same boat but diffrent waves. My stbx bf is a user and has no use fthe kids except to keep her happy.

I'm in a similar boat. I don't respect his g/f at all. Not only did she start seeing my husband BEFORE we separated, but she came into my home and had sex with him in my home, all the while knowing that I thought he and I were working on the marriage. Furthermore, she brought drugs into my home so the two of them could get high and go at it like rabbits while I was at work. Oh, and she told me not to "judge" her because of that. Give me a break.

I don't want this girl in my daughter's life. I hope her father wants to be in her life, but I draw the line at his g/f. She doesn't have the values (and neither does my stbx for that matter, but he is her father) I want my daughter around.

Plus, the pain of the whole things adds to me not wanting to cooperate.

Now, if he'd just gone off on his own and then found a nice girl that had no interference in our marriage, it would be a different story. Sure, I'd still be hurt, but I wouldn't feel so deceived. I'd at least be able to respect her.

I have been in this situation before and actually told the other woman not to so much as look at my son, not to utter his name and if she ever touched him I would really hurt her. I said the same thing "If it was anyone else I would be ok with this." Not true! I was still in love with my x and did not want him with anyone. I eventually stepped back and looked at what I was doing. I looked like a fool. So I just stopped. Even though I never said anything about it in front of my son he knew there was tension there. Once I stopped everything started running smoother. I also figured out that I was allowing her to control me and I sure did not want that, so I stopped. It was not easy, but I did it. I promise it gets easier with time. If you find yourself thinking about it, find something to do, like call a friend and purposely DO NOT talk about the situation. Everything will work out. Good Luck!
