Harely
I can't offer many words of advice about what to do to get the ball rolling other than keep in mind that you are doing it for yourself and your daughter and don't be afraid of any financial help you can receive to get you started. also I can tell you what I have done so far to make it a little easier on myself and my child.
I too have a very similar situation to you and am now in a co parenting situation until our home is sold . it's not easy, but you can get through this. It has made me believe in myself more.
I am here for you anytime you need to talk, really.
HUGS
I am in the same situation. And, I've done a lot through 14 years of very unhappy and emotionally unbearable marriage. I am an immigrant..so I learnt English, got some job experience, went to school and got good education, I have friends, and my mother is with me in USA. I was not working for many ears because of children. My 5-y.o. is Autistic. And I live in a hell...literally. I did not give up my hope for divorce and freedom. I recently found a job again. But, honestly when I practically picture my life alone, it seems like even worse than with my husband. If we combine our income and divide it by 2, after divorce we both will join the low income community.
Let's be practical and realistic. Will you have money to rent an apartment and pay your basic expenses after divorce? If not, forget about it and work on making yourself financially independent.
