Breakups & Divorce Support Group
Just broke up with someone or in the midst of a difficult divorce? Breaking up is difficult no matter what the circumstances are. They say that time heals all wounds, but sometimes a listening ear or a hug can work wonders for the heart. Whether you need a place to vent, someone to hold you to No Contact, or need advice about what to do, we're here to help.
That being said, I dont see anything wrong with drumming up conversation. Could be someone getting other peoples perspectives on a hypothetical situation that has crossed their minds (thats the number one reason we come here, isnt it? What difference does motive really make..?)
As far as confrontation being a bad idea - maybe it is, maybe it isnt. I guess it depends on how its handled by the people involved. For someone not capable of self control - yeah, probably not the best idea.
Some people - like me - need to do it in order to get appropriate closure.
I think I would have hung onto him for much longer than I did had I not confronted him.
What happened after that was on her shoulders because I knew she knew what she was getting into. I felt better, i did and as for him he was angry BUT he did this not me and if you are going to make those choices sometimes you have to deal with the aftermath.
Once you start to see things with your mind and not your heart you realize you deserve better. Good things happen to good people.
Good luck!
At any rate, just today I thought "I should go and meet her. I bet we'd be good friends and have lots in common and could do stuff together-just not mention him. " Then I realized there was no way he'd want/let that to happen. If only because he likes to be the focus.
In my case, he was unhappy but instead of talking to me, he went online to the dating sites looking for someone. I fault him. I did often think of contacting her to let her know what she was getting in to, but I figured she wouldnt believe me. So, I leave it all alone.
She ended up pregnant without knowing who the father was. She helped destroying a few marriages. I blame the guys mostly even though she was a sl*t chasing married guys.
She had an abortion. My guy was there for her and with her. Supporting the poor thing. He knew about the other guys, they all knew about each other
I don't know if, in general, it's easier for people to blame the OW or OM, because they don't want to to further soil the image of their spouse?
Silly wabbit. He's a cheater. Did you really expect honesty from a cheater?
UGH!
