Just broke up with someone or in the midst of a difficult divorce? Breaking up is difficult no matter what the circumstances are. They say that time heals all wounds, but sometimes a listening ear or a hug can work wonders for the heart. Whether you need a place to vent, someone to hold you to No Contact, or need advice about what to do, we're here to help.
You've had enough time to relax and unwind. So how about discussing your own situation.
Found our truck parked in her driveway at 11PM on a Wednesday night.
Banged on her door and demanded he hand over his wedding band.
When she came to the door (afraid me yelling at him was going to wake up her three children), I asked her if she truly felt what she was doing was ethical - if she was setting the best possible example for her children. And she simply said yes. Because she claimed they werent doing "anything".
She saw absolutely nothing wrong with a married man being in her home late at night - regardless of what they were doing. They acted as though I was the irrational one (deflection).
I left with his wedding band. It was tough. Given the person I was then, I'm surprised I didnt wind up in jail for assault. Seriously.
Even though I couldve done MUCH worse (and wanted to), it was not my proudest moment. But it was something I needed to do at the time. I needed that moment in my life in order to make a complete recovery. I needed to hate them both in order to see who he really was and be able to (happily) let him go.
They are still together. They can have eachother.
I once sent a message to a woman who was sending my mate explicit pix on his phone while she was engaged to another man and was all religious on her FB page - the pix she sent him was so explicit I can't even describe in on this site - but anyways, I reached out and said, aren't you getting married? - should I sent this pix to your man or should I put it up on FB? - she didn't reply - that was that - he wasn't worth me confronting her - he was the problem not her - after that experience never again will I confront another woman - they aren't the problems - the ppl we choose as mates are the issues - our poor choices are the issue. Outsiders don't care and never will.
You're not shy because you're actually posting and nothing is too embarrassing for us and we've heard just about everything and this is an anonymous board. You didn't post a city, a state, whether you are male or female or an age. So you are hyper-anonymous.
When posters do nothing but ask questions and people are telling their personal stories, you begin to wonder if they are a student doing a project, someone writing a book, or researching, etc.
People here have faced embarrassment, humiliation, broken hearts--come on, talk to us.
