I was blind sided last weekend with my wife getting a rental truck and cleaning get out the house. We have been married 8 years and it has been a very rocky road for the last 4 years. We have been seeing a marriage counselor and really thought it was helping. I'm active duty in the Army and this has been a very hard week. Lost my spouse and children. The pain and loneliness is very hard. Been trying very hard to keep my mind busy. Also had surgery 2 days after she left and now off for 30 days to recover. Going through this alone is a very hard adjustment.

Sorry for your situation. I hope you have a good recovery from surgery. What is some more of the story? Why specifically were you going for marriage counseling in The first place?

Wife was diagnosed with bipolar, border line personality disorder and going to anger management. Every little thing I say or do sets her off. Have been trying to work out our relationship.

I would first heal then, get a lawyer and see if your spouse wishes to pay you for half of all the furniture and appliances she took. These are half yours. Secondly, I would check out your bank account to make sure she didn't clean that out as well. Being blind sided by something like this is not good but, I would definitely contact a lawyer and see what options you have. It appears she is done with the marriage anyway. Sorry for your loneliness and the decisions you must make.

I feel your pain. I didn't realize I stay in the relationship just so I'm not alone. he cheated on me every year we been together.. 5 years. this time its over. I came home to a letter rather he cheat on me he left me. I'm heart broken. I would not fit it if it damage this bad. you rather stay in and take the abuse or be free and deal with the struggle til you find new love?

I have always had a separate banking account. Have contacted a lawyer already and have pay the retainer fee before anything happens.

    My husband and I got our foster license last month, after 3 years of hard work (we had to start over multiple times due to family dramas and Mom's open heart surgery). We spent a year preparing the whole house, guest rooms, and children's bathroom for older kids of 7 yr old and up. Then we got a call that we have been approved to receive twin newborn premies. What, what?!! Babies!? Premies?!...
