Sometimes I wonder? No, actually I don't wonder...I know...They should require divorce class in high school. Nobody ever tells you these things before getting married.

The only way to get kicked off the boards is repeat bannings, or a very serious offense, such as to make a death threat toward someone. And they will only get kicked off , if someone complains. I am not a complainer and believe in the boards being self regulating most of the time, except in blatant instances where one comes from another group and insults one of our own , then my protective mode comes out and I do what needs to be done.

You will have to try much harder if you want to get a vacation... LOL...

I have been saying that for years.

I have 2 degrees, but I don't know anything.

All they should teach us is :

1 - how to repair your home/car
2 - how to manage your finances
3 - how to sustain a relationship

Anything else is just fluff.

there are so many real world skills they don't come close to even talking about in school..
i remember for years we learned about american indians, jungle animals, geometery, chemistry, physics, spanish....

how bout a class in investing, mortgages, checking accounts, credit reports, budgeting, divorce, estate planning, iras...etc...

We teach our kids the wrong things sometimes...

They should require mandatory premarital counseling. I think some countries might do that.

We would have never gotten married had we done that.

some churches make you go through marriage classes first. Not sure if that helps keep people faithful, I'm guessing probably not.
