My divorce was final last year, but I'm still debating... go back to my maiden name or keep my married name.
The reason I didn't change it is because of my credit.... I just got it rebuilt from bankruptcy and was worried that changing my name would completely wiped it out and I'd have to start over again.
I also thought about adding my maiden name as a hyphen.... but is that too a legal nightmare?

Also, it would be more of a pain changing my name back in my home country right now while living in the US. I may change it back to my maiden name when I move back home... but my maiden name is second only to Smith in popularity there--so maybe I'll stick with the less common one. LOL!
