Tonight is supposed to be my friends early halloween party and for weeks i had been told my ex couldnt make it. Now as of last night when my friend picked me up I find out he just might make it with his new girlfriend. I'm not suprised in the slightest he already has someone new after just a few weeks of breaking up. His charisma is through the roof and when he enters a room he's always charming and the first to be flirted with. I'm just worried I'm gonna punch him. I couldnt give a damn anymore that he's already moved on but I'm afraid I might say something petty or he'll try to convice the others at the party that I'm just being a bitch by not talking to him.

I cant leave because my friend spent 4 hours coming to pick me up and I'm staying for the weekend. My best option is to fully ignore him and cling to my two good friends as best I can till he finally leaves. I'm hoping to god he only stops by to say hi then bye. If I can just keep my anger and panic attacks under control I should be fine. Why is it so hard to be strong when you need to the most?
