A friend of mine just called and told me that he has some kind of bug that had been eating the carpet off of his boat trailer. The carpet on the bunks of his boat trailer is really damaged and he needs to replace it. Anyone have any idea of bugs that eat carpet?

Seriously...if we can't figure out how to kill what ever it is then if he replaces the carpet it will just get eaten again. I have never seen anything like this. It didn't even bother the wood, just the carpet.

Yeah...he said that it did look like a beetle of some sort...what do you use to kill them off?

Vaccumm alot,...and al ong time first, then steam clean. They can be killed by hot soapy water if there in clothes cuz they eat that too...kind of like moths..Borax is very effective. Or a industrial cleaner,..professional carpet guys..

My 6mo twin DD's are EBF and just started rice cereal on the first. Everything has been going fine except this morning one of them had a diaper rash (lots of redness around her anus). I read this as one of the signs of an allergy. BUT I did just buy a different brand diaper yesterday (which they have used randomly before w/no issues). Do you think its the cereal or the diaper?
