Just broke up with someone or in the midst of a difficult divorce? Breaking up is difficult no matter what the circumstances are. They say that time heals all wounds, but sometimes a listening ear or a hug can work wonders for the heart. Whether you need a place to vent, someone to hold you to No Contact, or need advice about what to do, we're here to help.
If youre asking
- will it come true, no
- is there something meaningful I should pay attention to?
my opinion is theres always something your subconscious is chewing on in your dreams, even if its fluffy dessert
but if its recurring, its something your subconscious cant figure out how to swallow, so it tries again and again and again, in which case talking about it with a therapist, writing it out (nice one), drawing it etc would help
breakups are one of the most painful upheavals adults undergo
it makes sense your mind is trying to process, digest, makesense of your feelings especially, since your heart is extremely slow following your head, and especially when we sublimate those feelings during our waking day in order to get business done

As for your dreams, I am not an expert at all, outside of having my own dreams and analyzing them, but for me, most of my dreams, even those of violence, including death, were related to situations that troubled me deep inside or an experience I was going through.
I mean no disrespect nor do I mean to devalue or lesson the meaning of what you are experiencing when you sleep, but looking at what's going on around you, what may be troubling you really deep inside, could give some light. If you continue to have extreme dreams over a long period of time, mainly meaning more then a few weeks or months, then I would speak with someone in your area about them. They may be able to help with a solution, including a temp prescription to help suppress bad memories and allow you to rest during this time.
hang in there.
As far as the rules goes, it seems safe enough to post, as it is a dream, and not real. I'm still not comfortable though with it, so I think I will hold off on posting a link to it until I can mull it over some more in my head. I'm doing the best I can, but I will say it is hard.
I made contact again last night with her, to tell her I wasn't making contact anymore, and sat here crying as I wrote it. My mother left to pick my father up for work early this morning, and all I did was cry. I almost sent myself into a MG crisis with my breathing, but did manage to get it under control after an hour or so. I realized after I woke up this morning, that I said I was sorry for things I shouldn't have, and feel pretty powerless in it all again. I have since shut down the email address that I contacted her with, and have told myself that I'm not allowed to do this to myself anymore.
But, if truth be told, I feel so lost without her. I find myself lost, with no real goal in mind anymore. I hope that after a good night's rest, I will perk back up, but for today, it doesn't seem likely. Thanks for your advice joy, chi, and kevin. It does mean a lot to hear what others think, and I will think on what you have stated.
