Breakups & Divorce Support Group
Just broke up with someone or in the midst of a difficult divorce? Breaking up is difficult no matter what the circumstances are. They say that time heals all wounds, but sometimes a listening ear or a hug can work wonders for the heart. Whether you need a place to vent, someone to hold you to No Contact, or need advice about what to do, we're here to help.

While no words of comfort may be able to penetrate our hearts right now, sometimes it still helps to hear and store for the future when we can truly understand and draw strength from them. And there is a future. Its coming regardless of whether you want it to or not. Thats the wonderous beauty of time. Tomorrow will be there, a new day, new places, new experiences, new faces. All we have to do in these times of severe grief is survive till the next day. And thats what heartbreak feels like, survival. It seems oddly well suited to the metaphor of falling down a deep canyon. Mind you this wasnt a gentle fall. When we wake up at the bottom of this chasm we are already battered and bruised from the fall. Everything aches, your heart pounds, your head is spinning, we feel weak. We must crawl and climb aall day on raw bloody hands and shaking unsure feet, clinging, grasping to any handhold we can find just to get to a small ledge for the night and sleep. It may not be a restdul sleep on this tiny little ledge, especially when you look up the canyon wall all the way to the top and see how impossibly long the journey in front of you seems. Yet each day we need only to make one conviction. Keep climbing. Somedays we may not climb very far. Some days we may lose our footing and fall further than where we were yesterday. But that doesnt matter. We must grot our teeth and set our hearts on one goal. Keep climbing. One day you'll wake up, preparing your heart and mind for the long climb ahead, look up, and see that you are there. You are out of the nightmare of the never ending struggle. It may have been the most painful and seemingly endless journey, but for it you will walk away a little taller and be more confident in your own strength, because at the end of the day you know that if you survived this, you can survive anything.
That being said, and this is one of those things we dont want to hear now, you will find someone in the future who treats you so much better. No one should be treated, or treat anyone else, like that. As long as what we give is love and support and posotivity than that too is what we deserve.
