My boys who were 6 and 8 at the time, gave me a big bear for Christmas, I asked "what am I supposed to do with this?" and they answered in unison "Sleep with it". Sweet little boys that they are, have their beds full of stuffed animals, mommy on the other hand would prefer something uh less furry! But I do sleep with it, sometimes he does get thrown out onto the floor though :{ lol

As for the Craig's list add for a sleep partner, seems like you should be able to find someone. I hear people saying all the time "I just need a place to crash" , dinner-sleep-breakfast, ya know that could work for a lot of people, those who like to have their "freedom" don't own stuff or have a place where they actually live. You could make a pretty good arrangement, have your rules 1) cleanliness is a must 2) you gotta leave in the morning 3) can only before there for x amount of time before bedtime. Oh heck I think you might even be able to get away with charging a small fee for that nice comfy bed space, what with real estate being at a premium these days.

If I wanted a pillow to mimic my Ex Wife, I would stick a cactus plant in the freezer and then stick a Styrofoam cooler on the edge of the bed so it will make a annoying squeak every time I moved... then and only then when I hug the bristly freezing cold cactus all the while hearing the squeaking Styrofoam at the end of the bed mimicking her bitching that I am moving in the bed again, then and only then will that remind me of her, but why would I want to go back to that?

Sorry, anger issues, I will do better about that next time, today is not that day and tomorrow does not look so good either.

I'm still thinking the mobile divorce care business is something GSCH and I should look into. An RV or something with everything the divorced, depressed and despondent individual needs to get through their grieving. Charging to share a bed seems crazy but the weird thing is people pay for stuff they could get for free. Put an add "For Rent 1/2 of a queen size bed" maybe people think if it's free it's junk but if you have to pay for it, then it must be good. Plus if they are paying for it then they will maybe be more confident that it's a business arrangement (no hanky panky involved) lol

Hey, it's totally ok. As another respondent said, whatever works. I sleep with my cat and am back to sleeping with a stuffed animal.

Sometimes my 5 year old climbs into bed with me, which is nice for a little while... until a get an elbow in the eye. That child SPRAWLS when she sleeps... and snores.. and kicks. OUCH.

I'm just going to curl up with my fat roll. Comfy.

I used to have a body pillow. Loved it. Now I just use 3 pillows. two for my head and one I cuddle with since I don't have anyone to do that with anymore :)

When my kids are not here, I sleep with a bunch of pillows. When they are here, I usually sleep with one of them, they fight over who gets to sleep with me. I have three.

I've been thinking in my next place, I'll get a ginormous bed, so many of us can sleep there. Heehee. All three of my kids and me, that is. Like in traditional societies, where bed sharing co-sleeping is the norm.
