It is my sixth anniversary, but I have been separated from my cheating husband for two months. He claims he has stopped seeing the OW, but I know that is not true. He begins texting me today and guess what he wants. SEX. He wants me to come over and have sex with him. When I explain to him that I don't trust him and that sex is not the cornerstone of a relationship, he accuses me of being a slut and sleeping around. He is the one who had an affair in the first place! I have only had sex with two men in my life and I married both of them. I am angry with him for causing this situation and being so self righteous.
I second the vote to go to the chumplady. Leave a cheater; gain a life. My bet is if the OW is out of his life it's because she wanted that; not him. Or he is hedging his bets-keeping you on the line in case things don't work out. They all read from the same playbook. 6 years seems like a lot but in the grand scheme of things it could be worse. (Ask the woman who was married 27 years and got the same treatment how she knows-yeah that would be me.

You should do a little victory dance in your living room..that now he wants something from you and awww..poor baby..you aren't going to oblige. You lost a disrespectful, entitled ass and you gained your self respect and power. Yay you!
Now make sure when and if you date again you don't ignore red flags..choose wisely because you deserve to be treated well.
