Breakups & Divorce Support Group
Just broke up with someone or in the midst of a difficult divorce? Breaking up is difficult no matter what the circumstances are. They say that time heals all wounds, but sometimes a listening ear or a hug can work wonders for the heart. Whether you need a place to vent, someone to hold you to No Contact, or need advice about what to do, we're here to help.
I'm so relieved that you are feeling a bit better today! I just had to pump my fist in the air when I read your post. It will get easier.
Why that foolish man thinks he should get part of your business is ridiculous. Obviously if he contributed in anyway to your business it was because he wanted to at the time. Just because he turned into a jerk doesn't mean he can ask for accommodations of any type now!
Much love and huge hugs!!
Deb
*hugs* We're definitely not going anywhere! You help other people here too, you know. And it's a pleasure and a privilege to be able to be here for you as well.
As far as you needing us, well lets just say that I have been a member on this forum for almost ten months...some have been here for years...we give and take from each other and that is what helps us to be strong. I am not going anywhere so feel free to lean as long and as hard as you want:)
((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((hugs))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))
You always have people to turn to. Good job, you!
I too started taking an antidepressant and I seriously can still remember the day that I was like "wow, I think this stuff is working".
You just keep coming here and leaning on us whenever...we are here for you!
so has my insatiable appetite
He recons because he bought a lot of my machinery to help me set up the business, that he is part of it. and he said he could get some men in to come into my work and just take what belongs to him.
If he does that il be out of work and i rely on it obviously for my income. Can he do that ?
Before i met him i had been on my own for 10 years, i was a single parent and i had a job that i worked in for 9 years.
He was the one that pushed me into opening this business and Quiting my other job.
I know most of you live in a different state to me , so i dont know if the same thing apply when it comes to things like this.
He is making it sound like ive taken all his help and he is the injured party.
I still live in a rented house that i have had for over 10 yrs.
when we married he moved in with me.
He has a property that he then rented out ( to my daughter at the time, the one he was seeing behind my back).
He now lives there himself and she has moved out as you know..
I told him leave my business alone and i will leave his property alone. not that i want his property because i dont.
I just want to keep my business. why should he have it all. He is the one that betrayed me. I do wish i had kept my other job and not get pushed into the business as he holds me to ransom over it all the time. I have built this business myself on my own. He has a job
I think that's why he's so desperate for you to put his name on the business now....he wants you to believe him, or worry he can take machinery if he doesn't get his way.
You keep on smiling....it will make him scared you're up to something:):):)

I will be getting some legal advice also.
You are in the midst of breaking him of some very bad habits and it will take a while. Once he realizes you are getting stronger, it will be tougher for him.
Also find the things to be grateful for today.
