Mine ex started rumors on me. She said I never paid child support and that was a lie. I started paying a year before the divorce was even final. She said I never came to see the kids. That was a lie. I would come to pick them up for "my weekend" and she would start a fight then, refuse to let them come with me.
This was her way at hurting me.

She never admitted to any of her affairs, even after she was caught red handed by another man's wife. She always denied every affair she had so, don't feel you are alone in this. Many of us here have been there too.

Yep, it's par for the course. These folks need to construct a phantom reality in their heads to justify what they have done.

same things happened to me but hey your real friends know exactly what has happened so let him carry on .

In time the liar's lies will catch up with him/her. Continue to walk the high road. My ex pulled the same crap--it's called Rewriting History. He continually has to change his stories because my positive behavior continues to negate his outrageous lies. Eventually new lies begin to cover up the old lies and pretty soon, no one believes the liar.

Hang in there. Unfortunately, it is a sad part of the divorce process.
