This is true. And not all of us heal at the same rate, have the same issues to deal with, the same psyche. So sometimes we have to be kinder a little more and a little longer than others. Thanks for the post- good reminder.

Yes, we do have a choice to be kind or nasty,, I hope to always choose kind!

I would say at a minimum be kind to those around you. If you can do more listen. A lot of people are drowning out there. It only takes a few moments to throw them a line.

being nice feels so much better.
I always smile at someone walking down the hall or street because you never know that smile might save their day.
I remember some dark places when a right put God Bless made my heart warm.
I have had a lot of unkindness, but it will not break me of being kind to others.

This helps me stay away for each day because I am angry and hurt and I don't want to blame him or lash out, I want to be kind and sometimes staying away is the best way I can do this (for now).
