Breakups & Divorce Support Group
Just broke up with someone or in the midst of a difficult divorce? Breaking up is difficult no matter what the circumstances are. They say that time heals all wounds, but sometimes a listening ear or a hug can work wonders for the heart. Whether you need a place to vent, someone to hold you to No Contact, or need advice about what to do, we're here to help.
I always try the more natural routes. Lavender spray on pillow, bath salts, music, tea, exercise.
Just sending lots of support
I sleep with the tv on but it still doesnt help my mind from stopping... I cant sleep... I have tried the vitamins and the alcohol and it works to put me to sleep after a while but I only sleep for a few hours then I am up and my mind wont stop....
I miss having someone lay next to me... he wasnt a very good sleeper and he would be up all night and watch tv channel surfing or he when he did sleep he snored so loud it was actually hilarious but it is what i got used to and how i learned how to sleep.... I have so many issues with sleeping but I hope it will pass...
I dont have great advice to tell you how to get over it but I do believe it will pass and in an ironic way in the long run we will both be so used to the way we sleep now that it will be so hard to cope with sleeping in the same bed with someone else in the future again.... in a year, two years, five years from now we will both think back to these posts and just smile...
I believe it will get better cause it has to... the only way we have to go is up from here... the only thing that will bring us down is ourselves and we have both been thru to much to let that happen....
I am here for you and I hope all of you are here for me as well!!!
It sure doesn't feel like it at the beginning but one night you won't cry, and then it might be two night and before you know it it will have been a month.
You have to feel this feelings and let them out. Its is your minds way of coping and dealing with it all.
Its hard to do but my therapist told me that I wouldn't begin to recover until I had had 3 long drawn out crying spells. NOt just crying for a few minutes but crying for a one or two days straight.
At the time I thought he was deranged, who would lay on the bathroom floor sobbing and crying for hours. Well it turns out I would, and did three times.
Once on the night he moved out, second time when he took them for a week at Christmas and again for some reason at the 8 month mark.
I was so so sad, and in the end it did help to just get it all out.
So cry those tears, and feel those feelings, I promise you it will get better
