Well guys, I am sitting here in the harbor at Cobb Island, MD on my boat with the anchor dug in. I am going to go ashore soon and grab a good meal and a few beers. It was a beautiful day but I spend most of it sailing upwind. The wind finally picked up and it was a beautiful said. I sailed about 20 nauticle miles to make 10 nauticle miles (had to tack back and forth across the wind).

What's next? Fresh Seafood!!!!! Cold beer!!!!

Crap....I have sailed for weeks on end all by my onesies. I singlehand even when my ex was with me because she was too good to do crew work. She also hated the boat after a few years of having it. She liked having the boat because she could tell her friends we owned a yacht but she hated being on it. She was stuck up!

Your wife is nuts--how could she not like sailing? She should have to live in southeast Ohio where there are hills and trees everywhere. . .she would have appreciated the ocean more.

Don't get me wrong--I love Ohio but when you wrote about how beautiful the sea looked tonight, I got tears in my eyes. I love the ocean. Makes sense. . .I'm an Aquarius--born in the sign of water.
