Got into a pursuit last night. It was awesome!!! We got a call over the radio that the county next to Culpeper was in pursuit of a motorcycle doing excess of 150 miles per hour on Route 29. The motorcycle went by two Culpeper County Deputies and smoked them. I had set myself up on a on ramp to Route 299 just to see the motorcycle go by at 150 miles an hour.
The motorcycle didn't see me sitting up there on the bridge and next thing I knew he was slowing down. I then saw him get onto the entry ramp to Route 299 and I knew that he was coming to me. I turned on my lights and siren and the motorcycle went by me. I followed him and he turned into a subdivision. He then made a left turn in the subdivision and then another left turn. When he made the second left turn he layed the bike over and crashed. I caught the guy by his bike. I got to pull my gun on him and order him to the ground. WHen he didn't go I helped him to the ground (it was only a little use of force) and handcuffed him.
The guy was drunk and blew a .20 grams per 210 liters of breath (the legal limit is a .08). He was really drunk and really stupid. 150 mph on a motorcycle with that much alcohol on board is death on a stick!
Anyway, Just wanted to tell you all about my exciting night.

Gosh that guy is lucky he didn't kill himself or someone else. I hate when those bikers pass me so fast on the side and I have my kids in the car. That is pretty funny he was asking for his mommy. Not so tough now.
