Of all days, Memorial Day. I tried to fill my day with activites. It worked until last night. Thank goodness for good ole "Zanax".
I just can't believe 14 years have been thrown away for a woman that most of his family and friends detest. The only reason they went to his holiday party, was for the food, beer and the pool. Half of them called "ME" to complain about how lazy she is and how my house is being destroyed and what a truely hateful person she is. My answer was, "that's his problem now". I am so proud of myself.

I can understand the anniversary being hard, mine was last Thursday, it was paiful but I got through it, and it's over now. Glad yours is over now too, and how well you got through it!

So this process kind of drags out for me. 14 years ago today, I was moving.
On top of everything, my daughter informed me that since the Dover race is next weekend, Daddy is taking her and the new girlfriend. Along with my sister-in-law and her family. Racing use to be one of my favorite past times. Now I can barely drive by the track with out busting into tears. Oh, yeah, we only live about 20 minutes from the track.
I am so very sorry.
And yes, you SHOULD be proud of yourself!!!
I'm sorry that this is such a tough week for you. Eventually this week will be over, and you will have gotten through it to the other side. In the meantime, try as much as possible to keep yourself focused on your own life and the positive things you are doing, and remembering that you deserve good things in your life, and people who treat you with love and kindness.
