Breakups & Divorce Support Group
Just broke up with someone or in the midst of a difficult divorce? Breaking up is difficult no matter what the circumstances are. They say that time heals all wounds, but sometimes a listening ear or a hug can work wonders for the heart. Whether you need a place to vent, someone to hold you to No Contact, or need advice about what to do, we're here to help.
You will make it through this. You have thought through everything and have done your best. If she cannot see that then it's her loss (though I have a feeling she may run back to you once you separate). good luck!
So be aware that lawyers will tell you what you should do, by the book, but it's important to know what you want and stick to it. If you keep your ground and say no, what can she do? Be mad? Whoopty doo. If you BOTH don't agree, then the divorce will take longer to finalize, until you both agree to what's in the divorce agreement. That's all.
That seems to be a problem for HER, not you. Then SHE can agree to NOT get half the inheritance. Then SHE can have HER divorce quicker and not feel like a "prisoner". Some folks seem to just agree to whatever just to get the divorce finalized quickly. Divorce smart. You don't want to look back in 2, 5, or 10 years and go WHY DID I AGREE TO THAT!?!? SHE seems to want this to move along, so she's trying to pluck at your heart strings...so cut em so she has nothing to pluck. She will keep asking, she will yell, get mad, cry again, blah blah blah....then she will give up. Eventually.
Up her arse with her wanting your mother's money...unbelievable.
Wow, she really pissed me off today haha sorry...but you're not doing anything wrong by working. Traffic happens. I'm sure things will come up with her as well, so she needs to stop acting like she's perfect.
Regarding kids you HAVE to be a team until the kids are able to take care of themselves.
(Sorry, my NY attitude is showing today big time.)
