Hi guys, I am planning to write my stbx an email. The purpose is to get him into settlement agreement regarding furnitures he bought that I am using. I have not been in contact with him for two months now. I am not sure if the tone of my email is appropriate though. Please let me know your thoughts.
Dear stbx,
I understand everything by now and I am agreeing for a quick divorce as you wanted. During my relationship with you, I have given up two job opportunities just to be with you. I have given up my job to be with you when you moved to another state for a better paying job. I postponed starting my graduate studies for 5 months just to stay with you until you got the job in the UK so that we are closer. I waived my right for community of property as you demanded. Because of this divorce, I am compelled to change my residence status. I was accused by you of having a mental disease and abusive towards you in the divorce petition so that you can get a quick divorce. I swallowed that.
In view of all of these, I would like to have a clean break before the divorce is finalized. Therefore, I would like to have a written agreement regarding the furnitures you bought for me. I would like to have them. That is all I want.

With all the shit you've had to put up with, I would just say... I am taking the furniture, or you will see the crazy you have accused me of being.
I personally would NOT send the e-mail you have above. It does contain a lot of emotion instead of being strictly factual. You don't want to wave to throw a match on gasoline. .
