Breakups & Divorce Support Group
Just broke up with someone or in the midst of a difficult divorce? Breaking up is difficult no matter what the circumstances are. They say that time heals all wounds, but sometimes a listening ear or a hug can work wonders for the heart. Whether you need a place to vent, someone to hold you to No Contact, or need advice about what to do, we're here to help.

Can't sleep. Today was rough, but I made it through. And I think I did very well! He texted me all day at work. Wanted to come pick up his video games. BUT... I couldn't pack them up for him and put them somewhere for him to grab. Nooooo... He "needed" to come in to get them himself. Something about not wanting me to break them out of spite. LOL! So I got home from work, packed them up, put them outside and didn't give him a choice! He knocked and knocked at my door for at least a half hour. I ignored the knocks, the texts and the calls. Finally he left. He texted me afterwards and later into the night. Sweet mushy crap. Love songs, blah...
Around midnight, I gathered up all the pictures and letters I found from his whore. Took them outside, burned them all and watched the ashes float away. I felt so amazing!! I haven't been that at peace in so very long. I actually giggled and danced a little jig!! If any of my neighbors were watching, I'm sure they think I'm 100% bat-shit crazy!!
I'm still nervous about tomorrow. Maybe that's why I can't sleep. My sisters will be here, so hopefully he doesn't try to stay when he picks up the rest of his crap. After tomorrow, that's it. Blocking him from my phone. No contact. if there are any emergencies, I will hear them from my side of the family.
I still miss him so much. Funny thing is, I haven't cried at all this time. My favorite song of all time is "All Cried Out" by Lisa Lisa & Cult Jam. I actually think that I am now truly all cried out and that just helps me know that this is the right thing to do.
Honestly, though... Gotta send a shout-out to Dandelion for kicking my ass into gear!

People who were alive during 9/11/2001 have a story of how the attacks on the USA impacted their lives. Feel free to share.....I graduated from law school on Sat, Sep 15, 2001 at age 24. Many families did not attend the graduation ceremony because the airplanes were grounded. I was a law clerk for a certain government agency for two years while in law school and was looking forward to a great...

When people are used to being able to sway us with charm, or threats, or whatever it's because we've let them know by OUR actions that it's okay.
We really do teach others how to treat us.
Personally I'd just rather be responsible and accountable than do the drama anymore.
Some people are into negative drama. I'd rather be doing things that make me happy and add to my life.
You'll see your life will feel so much better when you're the one in charge of it.
And since the joker's we sob over aren't going to pay for the plastic surgery to put our faces back together, I'd just rather not go there over someone so not worth it.
That pain we go through and the process it takes to heal can be lengthy. We need to think of ourselves, improve and rebuild. We will be strong and better because of it.
Stay strong and positive.
