A woman in California had 8 babies. Could you imagine having 8 babies at one time? That is nuts! The expense alone would put a person in the poor house. I was hearing where one family of 8 was doing 42 loads of laundry a week!

I don't know if that is a blessing at that point. Poor woman!

I just read in the newspaper that she intends to breastfeed all of them! That is when I about fainted!

I think after like 6 babies the government helps out. Just think of it; 8 babies crying, 8 toddlers pulling things off the table, 8 toddlers to potty train....it makes my head hurt...probably not as much as her va-ja-ja though.

Yup I'm sure something will become of it. Especially here in California. It will be another TV SHOW or what is helpful when the communities come together and help out in big ways. They will need all the support and publicity they can get. I haven't read too much on it. But I am wondering if it was all naturally conceived.

The fertility drugs she most likely was on did it..... That stuff should be banned it's just not right.

Well, even I the mother of 7 thank the good Lord I only had them one at a time and I am crazy. So that many at once wow, I never even wanted twins. I nursed all mine and was sore, think of eight, I don't know how she would do that. That would be an all day and night job. She will probably just nurse some and supplement a lot. I will never complain about how many diapers I have changed in my life again.

I guess the husband can kiss his love life goodbye. I curl up in the fetal position when I have cramps. I can't imagine how it feels to be in labor with 8.

She definitely had those babies C-section. I'm sure they were premature, and you can't put a premature baby through that kind of vigorous journey!!

I bet she only breast-feeds them for a little bit. On tv this am, the doc was talking about her breastfeeding, but really what she was doing was expressing breast milk, and the babies were being tube-fed.

I am a big proponent of breast feeding, but I'm thinking she has to supplement. Otherwise she'd spend the first 4 months just breastfeeding! 8 kids feeding every 2 hours...1/2 at a time...somebody do the math!!
